I have worked with the Archer Project since 2015, being involved with various events such as running the Sheffield 10K, fundraising coffee mornings, food collections and their 30th anniversary celebrations. They work with homeless people in Sheffield to give them a better opportunities in life. Their basic services include 1-1 support and signposting, provision of in-house nurse and dental clinics, and access to hot food and showers. They run a programme of activities to help people learn skills and enjoy new experiences and gain accreditation. They also offer a structured volunteer programme to help people to grow their confidence and increase their employability.
